Srinagar, May 27: Militants managed to escape after a brief exchange of gunfire with security forces in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday, police said.
“After initial brief encounter during cordon & search operation in Gundpora Rampora area of Bandipora, militants managed to escape from the spot. However, our team chasing them. Further details shall follow.,” Informed Kashmir police zone in a tweet soon after the incident.
Earlier, Security forces and militants exchanged brief gunfire in Gundpora Rampora village of the district. (KNO)
