Kulgam, Jun 15: Search operation continued for the second straight day on Wednesday after an encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Mishipora-Kujjar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.
An official said that the search operation continued on the second day in the Mishipora-Kujjar area, where the initial gunfight started on Tuesday.
He said cordon layers have been tightened to ensure militants aren’t able to flee. “Lights have been installed to keep a watch on the spot where militants are suspected to be hiding,” he said. (KNO)
