Sopore, Jun 18: A 27-year-old youth on Saturday evening allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Arampora locality of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official said that a youth (name withheld) a resident of Arampora Sopore allegedly hanged himself inside his room in this evening.
He said that his family members immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, Sopore police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case while further investigations have also been taken up. (KNO)
