Budgam, Jun 29: A militant associate of LeT outfit was arrested in central Kashmir’s Budgam district in a case related to Narco-Militancy Funding module, police said here on Wednesday.
In a statement, a police spokesperson said that during the course of investigation pertaining to busting of Naro-Militancy Funding module one more associate namely Showkat Ahmed Ganie alias RK son of Late Mohammad Kamal Ganie of Chadoora has been arrested.
The statement reads that during investigation of the said case it came to fore that the arrested associate was involved in providing logistic support to LeT by distributing proceeds of narcotics to active militants and operatives of the outfit.
It added that further investigation into the case was going on.
