Pulwama, Aug 16: A 50-year-old man was killed after being hit by a moving train in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Police sources said that the victim was hit by the train near Malangpora, leading to his on-the-spot death.
He was identified as Muhammad Yousuf Dar son of Ghulam Muhammad Dar, a resident of Malangpora Pulwama.
The body was shifted by railway police to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the bereaved family. (KNT)
