Lets pledge to boost tourism sector

Visiting Jammu and Kashmir from other parts of the country or the globe would always be the best moments for every tourist given the picturesque places and nature here, which attracts the tourists from all across in almost every season. As the people from all across observed World Tourism Day Tuesday, the people associated with the tourism industry also highlighted the role played by the government in wooing tourists from different parts through various meetings, events and gatherings. However, the flow of tourists this year was quite appreciable, helping the tourism players to come out of the losses they suffered in the past couple of years due to the disturbing situation of Covid-19. It was after the gap of two years that the people here were able to see the good flow of tourists in almost every season, although the rush decreased in August, but has once gained a pace, boosting the economy here. On this day, the authorities should take pledge to bring more respite to the tourism players here by attracting more and more tourists to Jammu and Kashmir, but there is a need to ensure that some vested interests trying to defame the people of J&K by looting the tourists, should be identified and dealt with strictly as per the law. Jammu and Kashmir has a vast potential to become a major tourist destination for domestic tourists as well as the foreigners, but the government has to take care of certain things and ensure that no room is given to the people, who are hell-bent to spoil the efforts of the government in boosting the tourism sector.
