Anantnag, Oct 11: A 45-year-old pedestrian was killed in a road accident at Buchoo area of Kokarnag area of Anantnag district after he was hit by a motorcycle on Tuesday evening.
An official said that the accident took place at Buchoo village this evening when an unknown biker hit the man identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Ganie son of Abdul Salam Ganie of Sagam.
“The man got critically injured and was shifted to SDH Kokarnag for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries later,” he said.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNO)
