Srinagar, Oct 11: Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) organized an interactive meeting with its members.
Secretary Tourism Sarmad Hafeez who was the chief guest on the occasion hailed the efforts of the TAAK in organizing such an interactive session with general members.
The Secretary Tourism said travel and tour operators are the main components of the tourism sector who are the real ambassadors of the place.
He said the government has always taken such destination promotors on board for promotional activities and also for policy making.
Earlier, President TAAAK Farooq Kuthoo while welcoming the members said the association has organised the event to take the valuable feedback and suggestions from the members for making Kashmir a top tourist destination and also looking for ways to promote it as a preferred tourist destination.
He said TAAK has always been at the forefront in promoting the responsible tourism and engaging it’s members for tourism promotional activities.
On the occasion, former Presidents Rauf Tramboo and Ashfaq Siddiq Dug and highlighted the achievements of the TAAK.
Secretary General Sajad Ahmed Kralyari moderated the proceedings. (KNT)
