Ganderbal, Oct 25: The Councilors of Municipal Council Ganderbal (MCG) moved a no-confidence motion against incumbent President of Municipal Council Ganderbal, Hilal Ahmed Tantry.
Tantry was elected as President Municipal Council Ganderbal October 20, 2021 after the erstwhile President Advocate Altaf Lone lost the no-confidence motion filed against him by the councillors.
Of total 17 councillors, 12 among them have filed a no-confidence motion against Tantry in the office of Executive officer Municipal council Ganderbal.
The Councilors alleged that the incumbent president has failed to deliver as per wishes of common masses and his performance, functioning and conduct has remained unsatisfactory.
