Forests: The backbone of earth’s ecosystem

The fourth phase of the Back to Village programme launched by the government in Jammu and Kashmir has once again brought smiles on the faces of the people as the interactions and frequent visits of the officers are proving fruitful to the local populace. Holding interactive sessions with common masses through the Back to Village programme, the administration has been able to reach every place and every person to bring developmental respite among them. In the past three such phases, the government has done a tremendous work and this time too, it is expected that the government will bring further respite to the villagers, who are desperately waiting for the developmental initiatives to heave some relief. Such an initiative is appreciable as through this particular programme, the government has been able to witness the condition and miseries of the villagers on its own. However, the Visiting Officers, appointed by the government, must ensure speedy initiation of the process for resolving the grievances that will be put forth by the general people. The programme is undoubtedly a road map to ensure equal and unbiased development in every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir. Thus, the people must show enthusiasm in such activities and help the administration to ease their work by participating in these programmes. The Back to Village programme is an ample indication that the government is resolved to put an end to the development-deficientness in the Union Territory.
