Srinagar, Nov 10: Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday said the party is becoming stronger day by day and hoped the new formation in J&K will be of those having expertise in politics.
He was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event here in Srinagar. “The Apni Party is becoming stronger day by day which is a good omen for politics of Jammu and Kashmir”, he said. He also said like others political groups Apni Party is also ready for elections and we are hopeful the new dispensation in J&K will be of those people having expertise in political affairs.”
About party’s upcoming rally which is going to held on Nov 12 here is Srinagar, Bukhari said we are hopeful 50,000 thousand people will take part in the convocation. “We are ready for elections with an aim to serve people. The aim of convocation is to propagate message of Apni Party across J&K”, he said.
He added the Apni Party believes in politics of truth and will refrain from befooling common masses on sensitive issues. “We represent people’s aspiration. We don’t believe in provocation. Be it Article 370 and 35(A) or else the Apni Party will follow due course of action. We will fight for our rights and will move to court as well”, he added.
To a query, he replied that Apni Party has nothing to do with what others have decided about participating in elections. “We have our own opinion. We also believe statehood should be returned back as it was promised by Home Minister Amit Shah in public”, he added.(KNS)
