Srinagar, Nov 19: The army on Saturday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing a militant who had tried to negotiate minefield along the Line of Control in Naushera sector of Rajouri district.
In a statement, Jammu based defence spokesperson said that on the intervening night of November 17 and 18 an infiltration bid was foiled in Naushera sector.
He said a militant was killed after he tried to negotiate the minefield along the LoC.
He added the dead body of the militant was recovered today along with warlike stores.
