Govt asks admin secretaries to ensure monitoring of integration process

Srinagar, Nov 21: In a bid to ensure better assessment rating under BRAP, 2022, the government on Monday issued a circular, directing all the Administrative Secretaries to ensure monitoring of the integration process and the progress of approvals of the respective services to achieve 100% feedback of users on Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) and Ease of Living (EOL) in Jammu and Kashmir.
A circular issued by Secretary to the Government, Piyush Singla, reads that “Attention of all Administrative Secretaries of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir is invited towards initiatives of the Government under taken for simplifying regulatory burdens on businesses under Business Reform Action Plan (BRAP) of Department for Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India.”
“It has been observed that one of the key requirements under BRAP exercise is to integrate J&K Single Window Portal with other Departmental Portals/Online Systems whereunder, Government to Business (G2B) and Government to Citizens (G2C) services are being provided. The integration of such services would require on boarding of these platforms with J&K Single Window Clearance System under BRAP, 2022,” the circular issued under number 44-JK(GAD) of 2022, dated 21-11-2022, said.
“The integration of all portals which are providing G2B and G2C services under BRAP would redirect the applicants to a single platform of J&K Single Window Clearance System and departments would continue to use their respective service portals to approve or otherwise the applications within stipulated timelines notified under J&K Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011,” it added.
“Accordingly, it is enjoined upon all the Administrative Secretaries to ensure monitoring of the integration process in consultation with Industries and Commerce Information Technology Department and NIC, J&K alongwith Department, monitoring the progress of approvals of the respective services to achieve 100% feedback of users on Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) and Ease of Living (EOL) in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, so that better assessment rating could be achieved under BRAP, 2022,” the circular added.
