Hajin, Dec 7: A 4-year-old girl drowned to death in the River Jhelum in Banyari village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday.
An official said that the girl identified as Zehrish Tariq daughter of Tariq Ahmad Dar of Jadalpora Banyari drowned in the River Jhelum.
He said after completing medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to her family for last rites.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNO)
