Ramban, Jan 30: A tanker driver died in a road accident near Kawbagh in Ramban district on Monday early morning, officials said here.
An official said that the tanker that was on its way from Jammu towards Srinagar met with an accident near Kawbagh.
He said the driver, identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad son of Abdul Qayoum Wani, of Wagan Banihal was seriously injured in the accident and later succumbed at a hospital.
The official said police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNO)
