Srinagar, Feb 10: Police Friday said that a girl abducted in the Delina area of Baramulla has been recovered, and the accused has been arrested.
Police in a statement said that yesterday, a man from Juhama Baramula lodged a written complaint with Police Post Delina stating that his 14-year-old daughter (name withheld) has been kidnapped by one Adil Farooq Dar of Banyari Ajas area of Bandipora district.
Police said that a case was registered at Police Station Baramulla while Police Post Delina swung into action and recovered the abductee within 4 hours from Banyari Ajas.
The accused has been arrested and the abducted girl was handed over to the family. [KNT]
