Ganderbal, Feb 15: Tourist destinations in this central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district are presenting picturesque views after the recent snowfall, mesmerising the visitors.
Tourists from across the country have been drawn to the Gagangeer area of Gund in Ganderbal.
A couple from Mumbai expressed excitement about their first visit to a hill station. They said seeing the snow-covered mountains in Gagangeer, Sonamarg was like a dream come true. They also mentioned that the availability of snow bikes, sledges, and horses made their visit even more enjoyable.
Amit Kumar from Maharashtra expressed his admiration for the beauty of Kashmir. “Kashmir is indeed a paradise on earth,” Kumar said. “It is truly a stunning destination; a heaven on earth, with its breathtaking natural scenery and unique culture.”
“Visiting Kashmir is dream come true for us. The snow-capped peaks, lush green valleys, and crystal-clear lakes are beyond any praise,” said Nidhi Sharma, a tourist from Delhi.
Rakesh Singh from Mumbai was all praise for the valley’s beauty: “The stunning landscape of Sonamarg is like a painting has come to life. The majestic mountains, sparkling rivers, and colourful meadows are a treat for the eyes.”
“Kashmir’s natural beauty is unmatched. The tranquil atmosphere, fresh air, and pristine landscapes are a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life,” Ayesha Khan, a tourist from Bangalore, exclaimed.
