Meeting with US envoy focused on bilateral ties: Omar

Srinagar, May 8: Working in J&K Pollution Control Committee has been affected in absence of the chairman following the retirement on superannuation of Dr Neelu Gera(IFS) before two month.
Then government gave additional charge to PCCF Dr. Mohit Gera he also retired on April 31.
Reports said that so far the government has neither appointed any officer nor assigned charge of the post to anyone, as a result of which a number of unit holders who require NoC to carry out their works have been affected.
“I require NoC for the unit but in absence of the chairperson, my file is pending and as a consequence, my work is getting affected,” said a unit holder. A number of different unit holders also expressed similar views and urged the government to ensure that the works are not affected by either appointment fulltime chairperson or assign charge of the post to any officer.
They appealed lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to look into the matter.
