Srinagar, May 13: A labourer died after receiving an electric shock in Srinagar on Saturday.
Official sources said that a labourer from Dudran Boniyar area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district received an electric shock near SP College Srinagar. He was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar where doctors declared him brought dead.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Zubair Ahmed Sheikh son of Ghulam Muhammad Sheikh.
Police in this regard have registered a formal case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
