Consider lifting of ban on mining in J&K

The people associated with mining in Jammu and Kashmir continue to suffer as the government has not taken a call so far, favoring them, thus leaving them to the lurch at large. The ongoing ban seems a non-issue to the government as it has not so far considered to put an end to the woes and miseries of the people who are directly or indirectly associated with the business in Kashmir as well as in Jammu. This ban has left over four lakh people jobless and has directly affected their respective families as well. Banning the business which was a source of livelihood to lakhs of families cannot be, in any way, justified. If the Government is planning anything good for them, then, they should be taken on-board, and if the Government is mulling to side-line them all together, then, that is going to have catastrophic effects which are already visible on the ground. There is a need for the government to come clear on the issue and also consider the miseries of the people who are associated with the business as the number of these people have loaned money from banks for vehicles and other things, however, due to the no business, they are on the verge of becoming defaulters and are liable to action by the banks. It is like, do or die situation for them and in that the Government cannot push them towards hardships.
