Tarigami appreciates Govt’s decision to absorb Centaur Hotel employees

Srinagar, May 25: State President CITU J&K, Mohamad Yousuf Tarigami Thursday appreciated J&K government’s decision to absorb 145 employees of Hotel Corporation of India (HCI) working at Centour Lake View Hotel Srinagar in different corporations under tourism department on existing terms and conditions while the retirement benefits for the period they had worked with Hotel Corporation of India would be borne by HCI.
As per the decision, employees will be absorbed on the same and similar terms and conditions of service in J&K Tourism Department, Cable Car Corporation and Sher-i-Kashmir International Convocation Centre (SKICC) Srinagar. This decision was taken on the recommendations of committee and approved by the administrative Council, Tarigami said in statement.
Tarigami said that this is the victory of Hotel employees due to their consistent struggle under CITU Banner.
