Modi Government concerned about JK youth: Khatana

Kupwara, Jun 13: Narendra Modi-led Central Government is very much concerned about the youth of Kashmir and wants everyone to excel at the highest level for their good, Ghulam Ali Khanata, the Rajya Sabha member Tuesday said in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Khatana, who is in Kupwara district for a couple of days, as part of Modi’s 9 Saal Bemisaal campaign of BJP on the completion of nine years of Modi Government.
Khatana attended an event of the National Yuva Kendra at Government Degree College Kupwara. He interacted with the students.
Earlier in the day he also visited the Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara. There he interacted with the patients and took stock of the facilities available. He also interacted about the facilities of Golden Card with the patients there undergoing treatment.
Talking to reporters on the side-lines of the event at GDC Kupwara, the MP said that the Narendra Modi led central government is very much concerned about the youth of Kashmir valley.
He said that the government is committed to providing every opportunity to youth here. “On the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi events for youth are being organised regularly. We aim to make youth aware of the diversity India has,” he said.
Praising youth, the MP said that it’s the rural population that actually takes the country forward in every aspect.
“We are committed to ensuring all grievances are redressed early. We also follow up on all the grievances to ensure people don’t suffer,” he said.
The MP said that several grievances have come to his notice in the Kupwara district. “I will be holding a crucial meeting with the district administration to get the feedback. All the grievances people have raised will be discussed with the authorities for their early redressal,” he said.
He also said that they have always aimed to have a people-friendly administration. “We aim to bridge the gap between people and administration.”
