The people across Jammu and Kashmir have set yet another example of communal harmony as many people from different religions have been performing their duties as volunteers in serving the pilgrims, who are presently visiting the Amarnath holy cave to perform darshan. From policemen returning the bag of a pilgrim to SDRF jawan carrying an elderly pilgrim on shoulders to reach the holy cave to perform darshan, the people from Kashmir have sent a loud and clear message to the world that they are always at the forefront to help and assist the people belonging to any sect and religion in performing their religious duties. The honesty of the policemen who returned the bag of a pilgrim, was lauded by the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah as well while the other events and episodes during the ongoing annual yatra have been hailed by the people from different corners. To begin with, the government has made adequate arrangements for the pilgrims, be it health, security or other arrangements, everything is up to the mark. Recently, it has been witnessed that the pilgrims, who fell ill during the pilgrimage, were given best treatment by the health officials, who even praised them later for ensuring better health care facilities for the pilgrims. About the security arrangements, the Jammu and Kashmir Police as well as the other security men from Army, BSF and CRPF are on toes to ensure smooth and incident-free yatra. Back to back meetings being chaired by the civil administration as well as the J&K Police are testimony to the fact that the government has been making tireless efforts to make the yatra successful. Such enthusiasm must continue from the government as well as the volunteers so that the ongoing yatra is made memorable for the pilgrims in the largest-ever Amarnath pilgrimage in Jammu & Kashmir.
