Conglomerate to take final call over participation in All Party Meeting

Srinagar, Jun 21: Ahead of Delhi-J&K talks, the constituents of Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) are all set to hold a meeting on Tuesday at Gupkar residence of conglomerate’s president, Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
Pertinently, the leadership of mainstream political parties from Jammu and Kashmir has been invited for an All Party Meeting to be chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 24 in New Delhi.
Ahead of an All Party Meeting, the hectic deliberations by the political parties started here to discuss their participation in the meeting.
PAGD spokesman, Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami said that the meeting of the conglomerate has been scheduled for tomorrow and will be held at Dr Farooq Abdullah’s residence.
He informed that the meeting will start at 11:00 AM in the morning in which all the constituents will participate.
Sources said that the participants will discuss the decisions taken by their respective parties.
Earlier, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Political Affairs Committee (PAC) that met on Sunday authorized Mehbooba Mufti to take a final call over the participation in All-Party Meeting while National Conference (NC) Dr Farooq Abdullah met several leaders of his party from Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh in last two days to seek their suggestions with regard to the participation in the meeting.
Reliable sources said that the conglomerate will finalize its decision tomorrow and will make it public after the meeting in the afternoon.
