Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign: Pledge ceremony held at Police Station Manjakote

Rajouri, Aug 9: In a bid to pay homage to our cherished motherland and honour the valour of our brave soldiers, a pledge ceremony under the campaign “Meri Maati Mera Desh-Maati Ko Naman, Veeron Ka Vandan” was Wednesday held at PS Manjakote. The event witnessed the unwavering commitment of the local community and the dedication of law enforcement officials.
Under the exemplary leadership of Inspector Abrar Khan, SHO Manjakote and the guidance of SDPO Zafar Rather, the campaign garnered widespread support and participation. The event aimed to foster a sense of unity, patriotism, and reverence towards our soil, while simultaneously recognizing the selfless sacrifices made by our brave soldiers.
The pledge ceremony commenced with a heartfelt rendition of the national anthem, filling the atmosphere with a profound sense of pride and devotion. Amidst the enthusiasm, a series of passionate speeches were delivered by influential community members, emphasizing the significance of acknowledging the heroic efforts of our soldiers who safeguard the integrity of our nation.
They took the Panch Pran Pledge, vowing to honour our motherland, recognizing it as the very essence of our existence.
