The plantation drive was led by NYKS volunteers Er Saqib Shabir Mughal, Irfan Mukhtar and Mohammed Shakeel. It was aimed to promote environmental sustainability and instill a sense of responsibility among the students and the local community towards nature. The event brought together the school authorities, law enforcement personnel, and community members in a collective effort to make a positive impact on the environment.
The event commenced with an inspiring effort for emphasizing the significance of preserving our natural resources and creating a greener future. It deeply attracted the students and attendees, fostering a sense of unity and determination to contribute towards a sustainable ecosystem.
As the plantation drive unfolded, students enthusiastically took part in planting a variety of saplings, ensuring a diverse and balanced ecosystem. With guidance from experienced horticulturalists and the support of the local authorities, the event created an environment for learning and sharing knowledge about the importance of trees and green spaces. The initiative received overwhelming support from the teachers, students, and the local community. Their collective efforts not only offered tangible benefits in terms of air purification, soil conservation, and beautification but also highlighted the power of unity in achieving sustainable development goals. Moreover, the event instilled a deep sense of pride in the students, as they actively participated in contributing to a greener nation.
