BDO Manjakote , Girls High School collaborate for ‘Meri Mitti Mera Desh’ campaign

Rajouri, Aug 11: In a collaborative effort to promote environmental awareness and patriotism, Bock Development Officer Manjakote joined hands with Girls High School Manjakote to organize a seminar cum plantation drive under the campaign titled ‘Meri Mitti Mera Desh’. The event saw the participation of guests including Lt Col D.K Singh, Vice Principal of Higher Secondary Manjakote, and SHO Manjakote.
The highlight of the event was a detailed explanation presented by Heena Kouser, the BDO of Manjakote, about the ‘Meri Mitti Mera Desh’ campaign. The campaign aimed to instill a sense of love and respect for the nation through active environmental conservation efforts. Students were encouraged to actively participate in the campaign and make a difference in their surroundings.
To recognize the efforts of the students who actively participated in the campaign, prizes were awarded to them. The rewards served as an incentive for the students to continue their dedication towards the cause and further motivate others to follow suit. Towards the culmination of the event, Naseer Kouser, the Head Mistress of the school, extended a vote of thanks to the esteemed guests and all the participating students. Her words conveyed gratitude and appreciation for their presence and active participation.
The successful seminar cum plantation drive under the ‘Meri Mitti Mera Desh’ campaign showcased the power of collaboration and collective responsibility towards the betterment of the environment and the nation. By engaging the youth in such initiatives, the event created a positive impact on the present as well as future generations, fostering a sense of pride and responsibility towards their country and its resources.
