Dr Farooq visits Nawab Bazar, offers condolences to Sagar, family

Srinagar, Aug 12: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah Saturday visited Nawab Bazar, Srinagar to offer condolences to party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar on the demise of his brother Nazir Ahmed Ganie, who breathed his last the other day.
Dr. Farooq was joined by party colleagues, workers during the Fatiha Khwani majlis. Prior to this, party leaders took part in the Ijtemai Fateha Khawani majlis at the ancestral graveyard of the departed. The leaders also offered condolences to YNC Provincial President Kashmir, Salman Ali Sagar on the occasion.
Among others Party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, MP Hasnain Masoodi, Senior leaders Sharief Ud Din Shariq, Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Mubarak Gul, Sakina Itoo, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Political Advisor to President Mushtaq Guroo, Zone President Ali Mohammad Dar, State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Provincial VPs Mohammad Syed Akhoon, Ahsan Pardesi, Provincial Secretary Showkat Mir, district presidents Peer Afaq Ahmed, Qaiser Jamsheed Lone, GR Naaz, SM Incharge Ifra Jan, Younis Mubarak, Sheikh Ovase, Nasir Lone, party functionaries visited the bereaved family and extended heartfelt condolences.
Later Dr. Farooq Abdullah also visited the residence of Secretary Tourism, J&K Syed Abid Rasheed Shah and extended condolences to him on the demise of his father Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah.
Joined by party functionaries, he offered fatiha for the deceased on the occasion. He was accompanied by Party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, MP Hasnain Masoodi, and his advisor Mushtaq Guroo.
