Er Gurmeet Singh’s death: Hilal Jan demands CBI probe

Srinagar, Sep 1: Senior BJP leader and Chief Spokesperson for party’s Minority Morcha, Hilal Jan has expressed his serious concern over the mysterious death of a Sikh engineer in Baramulla and demanded a CBI probe into the matter.
In a statement, Hilal Jan said that vulnerable people in Kashmir are being made target of killings since 1990 till date. He appealed the government to launch CBI probe and termed Er Gurmeet’s killing a coldblooded murder. He demanded strict punishment to the culprits involved in the gruesome crime.
Suspecting foul play, he said that AEE was called on mobile by some known persons for official work on August 25 in the evening from his residence at Kanth Bagh. But his car was found with mobile inside near the bank of river Jhelum near Eco Park Baramulla and his body was found after several days.
