Budgam, Sep 19: A 62-year-old man, carpenter by profession, died after he fell from a rooftop of house in Repora village of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday, officials said.
An official said that the man identified as Samad Najar son of Gh Qadir Najar of Kherigund Chadoora was working when he fell down from the rooftop of house. He was immediately taken to sub-district hospital Chadoora for treatment where he was pronounced dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
