However, Facebook operates as a peculiar tech-driven platform where your list of friends may include individuals with fundamentally conflicting viewpoints. Even those who may be deemed evil, criminal, deceptive, collaborators, fraudsters, or any other type of fool can be connected as your ‘friends,’ and you might remain indifferent to it. This is because Facebook exists in an unreal, imaginary realm where life’s realities and principles often yield to personal satisfaction derived from chats, comments, praises, and the like. Social media platforms, including blogs and vlogs, dwell in this unreal and imaginary space. On Facebook, you can encounter connections among sophists and ‘mutual admiration groups,’ as they say, ‘birds of a feather flock together.’ It’s often utilized as a platform for expressing deep-seated hatred, biases, and prejudices against others, including nations and communities, all under the guise of sympathy for a leader or cause.’ These words encapsulate the intriguing paradox that defines the world of social networking, notably Facebook, and its impact on the dynamics of friendship.”
