Pulwama, Oct 3: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom Tuesday inaugurated the Sankalp Saptah initiative with great enthusiasm in the aspirational block of Ichgoze, here.
The event marked the beginning of a week-long campaign dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the residents in the region and in the Aripal block of the district.
The gathering in Ichgoze witnessed the establishment of vital healthcare facilities catering to the local community’s needs, including ANC Clinic, TB Screening, NCD Screening, ABHA Registration, Anaemia Testing, Immunization Drive, Nikshay Mitra Facility, Free Medical Checkup and Free Medicine Distribution.

Dr Basharat highlighted how government interventions in these areas can significantly improve the quality of life, providing opportunities for growth and prosperity.
