Srinagar, Oct 21: An 18-year-old youth from Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar, Aatif Bin Altaf, is all set to make his debut in the Bollywood as he has secured a role in the upcoming movie of Kartik Aryan, “Chandu Champan”.
“Chandu Champian,” a Bollywood movie, is based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, a freestyle swimmer and India’s first Paralympic gold medallist, and is set to be released on July 14, 2024.
“I got a call recently and I was informed that I have been selected for the role of a soldier in Kartik Aryan’s upcoming Bollywood movie, Chandu Champian. I couldn’t believe it as it was a joyous moment for me,” said Aatif.
“I have had a passion for acting since childhood, and I am inspired by the King Khan of Bollywood (SRK). This is my first Bollywood role, and before this, I have done a Puma advertisement, Myntra advertisement, and other fashion shows as well.”
“I have also performed at SKICC Srinagar, and on the occasion of International Pheran Day I have performed at both Lal Chowk and Bakhshi Stadium as well,” said Atif while adding, “I have shot for the movie for 5 days in Pahalgam, and I am so happy to be a part of the movie, and besides I am also performing in the upcoming fashion show at Aurangabad.”
“The people should follow their dreams and never give up, that’s the most important thing,” Aatif said.
“This 8 minutes long single-shot war scene turned out to be the most challenging, spectacular and yes, difficult but also the most memorable shot of my acting career. Thank you @kabirkhankk sir for giving me a memory to cherish for a lifetime. #ChanduChampion,” wrote the actor,” Karthik Aryan wrote on social media platform.
