Srinagar, Nov 1: National Conference (NC) Vice President and former chief minister of erstwhile J&K State, Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said that the situation in Kashmir has not changed, but the government has been misleading people about it.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the function here at Nawa-e-Subha, Omar, said that wish that the targeted attacks are stopped.
“We are pained to see the targeting attacks in Kashmir. Whenever the statements about the improvement in situation are being issued, we are witnessing the targeted attacks. Both civilians as well as police personnel are becoming the victims. The government should speak the truth about the situation in Kashmir,” he said.
He added everybody knows that the situation is not normal in Kashmir, but the government has been misleading the people about it. (KNO)
