Come up with more playgrounds

The rampant increase of drug menace in Jammu and Kashmir has already ruined many lives while government and other agencies are claiming to have been taking every possible measure to put an end to such a threat in the society. To control and prevent the youth from indulging in such a menace, there is a need to join hands to ensure that the youth are engaged in different programmes and activities that would help in changing their habits and also put an end to rising drug menace in the society. One has to play his or her role in it to keep the society clean from drug addiction. Similarly, the government at this juncture has to play a pivotal role to engage the youth across Jammu and Kashmir in sports activities. The government should direct formation of committees at the local level to identify the youth who are involved in drug addiction so that they can be involved in sports activities and their habits can be changed at this vital juncture. Saving lives is a responsibility of one and all, especially of the government, thus nobody should backtrack or delay the process of helping these youth to come out of this menace. However, the government for this, has to increase the number of playfields across Jammu and Kashmir as there is a dearth of such grounds here, which has been pushing the youth to the wall. Therefore, the government must consider increasing the number of playgrounds across the Union Territory.
