M A Shah commends J&K Police for exemplary efforts against drug abuse in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Nov 27: In a commendable display of appreciation for the relentless efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, BJP District President Mohammad Amin Shah has acknowledged and praised the district Ganderbal team for their outstanding work in curbing drug abuse and promoting constructive activities among the youth.
With a commitment to ensuring the well-being and safety of the community, the J&K Police, under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police for District Ganderbal Nikil Borkar, ASP Aijaz Malik, DySp HQ Ganderbal Ghulam Hassan and all other SDPO Kangan Muzaffar Ahmad, SHO Ganderbal Manzoor Ahmad, SHO Lar khursheed Ahmad, SHO Safapora Gulzar Ahmad, SHO Kheerbawani Lateef Ahmad, SHO Kangan Zahoor Ahmad, SHO Gund Mudasir Ahmad and other police personals have been actively involved in combating the menace of drug abuse. Their dedicated efforts have not only resulted in the arrest of several drug peddlers but also in the promotion of physical activities and sports among the youth in the district.
Mohammad Amin Shah, expressed his gratitude towards the J&K Police, particularly the Ganderbal team, highlighted their proactive approach in addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse. He said, “The police in our district have been working tirelessly to keep our community safe and secure. Their recent successes in apprehending drug peddlers and encouraging our youth to engage in physical activities and sports are commendable.”
“The people behind this mafia who are destroying our youth and society should not be spared,” added Shah. The district Ganderbal Police team’s efforts have yielded tangible results in the fight against drugs. Several operations have been conducted, leading to the identification and apprehension of individuals involved in the illegal drug trade. This proactive stance has sent a strong message that drug abuse will not be tolerated, and the authorities are committed to eradicating this menace from society.
In addition to their anti-drug efforts, the J&K Police have been actively engaging with the youth of Ganderbal to promote a healthier and more constructive lifestyle. Initiatives encouraging participation in sports, fitness activities, and community events have garnered positive responses from the local population. The police’s involvement in such initiatives not only fosters a sense of community but also serves as a deterrent to potential involvement in illicit activities. BJP District President Mohammad Amin Shah emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between the community and law enforcement in ensuring the success of such initiatives. He urged residents to support the police in their endeavors and to actively participate in activities that contribute to the overall well-being of the district.
