Baramulla, Dec 8: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, kick-started on November 25th, continues its impactful stride across Baramulla district, marking a significant leap forward in driving progress and inclusive development.
The Yatra, today journeyed through 10 panchayats across the district including Delina and Chandoosa among others where officials from diverse departments actively engaged with the local public, providing crucial information on multitude of Centrally Sponsored and UT based beneficiary schemes run by the Government of India.
The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Vans traversed between panchayats, serving as dynamic platforms to raise awareness about different government schemes. These vans are equipped with advanced technology, enabling them to conduct audio-visual presentations, interactive sessions, workshops, and awareness programs.
Moreover, Health, Agriculture and other departments organized camps offering free services to the residents of the panchayats aiming to enhance their access to healthcare and agricultural assistance and other services at their doorsteps.
Pertinently, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a nationwide endeavour aimed at achieving maximum coverage of government flagship schemes. The primary objective is to ensure timely and targeted delivery of scheme benefits to all intended beneficiaries across the country.
