Scams- Let people act wisely

Many scams and frauds have been witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir, but on Tuesday, a unique and unexpected scam has come to the fore as a private firm based in Kashmir have duped a whopping amount of Rs 59 crore of people. The scam is unique of its kind as the people who have invested in the company have been asked that they will get the double amount in just 15 days. Such a scam is similar to the bollywood’s comic movie—Phir Hera Pheri in which a company is seen duping the people by assuring them that their amount will be doubled in 15 days period. However, such an event has taken place at a time when the Police have been urging the people not to fall prey to the fraudsters. There are hundreds of people, even the employees of the firm, who have been duped in Kashmir, but the Police have started its investigation to trace the whereabouts of the firm and take action in this regard. But, the people need to behave with maturity and pay no heed to such stupid ideas and scams so that no one is duped and simultaneously the workload on police is avoided. It is the time when the people should not fall prey to the scams and act wisely. There is a need to speak up and inform the government, especially police if any wrong tactics are being played with the people anywhere so that such incidents are avoided in the future.
