Pulwama, Dec 20: Police have registered a case after thieves stole copper utensils worth lakhs of rupees in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said that burglars looted the copper utensil shop at Ratnipora village during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.
The shop belonged to one Zubair Ahmed Ahangar who claimed that thieves decamped with utensils worth over Rs 3 lakh.
He said that besides 8 ‘samvors’ and other utensils, burglars have stolen over 60 ‘tramis’.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. [KNT]
