Ganderbal, Dec 22: Residents of Ramwari Gund area in Ganderbal complained that they are facing drinking water shortage amid freezing temperatures.
“We are facing water shortage for the last one month and the employees of Jal Shakti department are paying no heed to our problems” Mushtaq Bijrad said.
Locals said they repeatedly requested the Jal shakti officials to resolve their issue to no avail.
“We have to walk a kilometre to collect water,” locals said and urged the department to get their issue addressed.
