Anantnag, Dec 25: In a heartening endeavor to make government schemes more accessible in urban communities, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) joyfully kicked-off its Dooru urban expedition Monday.
This journey, extending across Dooru Sub division, is geared towards bringing government initiatives closer to citizens and fostering positive change.
The urban leg of VBSY began with a vibrant inaugural event at Govt. Higher Secondary School Dooru, setting the scene for a series of Jan Bhagidari events. These events include “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” sessions and warm interactions with beneficiaries, creating a genuine platform for direct engagement with the community.
Today’s urban VBSY programs showcased various community-centered initiatives aimed at promoting well-being among the masses.
On-the-spot connections to schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, free health check-ups, Aadhaar card registration, and PM SVANidhi scheme registration were facilitated at the Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra Camp, ensuring that beneficiaries have easier access to essential government services.
SDM Dooru passionately highlighted the Yatra’s core objective, raising awareness about various government schemes and policies. Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi, concerted efforts are being made to transform the nation into a well-rounded and developed entity, ensuring that citizens can readily avail themselves of the benefits of these schemes.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide initiative committed to enlightening and empowering citizens about Central Government’s flagship schemes, has already forged deep connections among the masses in Anantnag District. With impactful sessions held in tribal districts and rural areas since November 25th, the Yatra stands as a living testament to positive change, nurturing a progressive society.
