Poonch, Jan 16: A soldier was killed while another sustained injuries after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Poonch district.
An official said that an army vehicle plunged into a gorge at Kassalyan area of Poonch, resulting in injuries to two soldiers, who were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
However, one among the soldiers later has succumbed to his injuries, officials said, adding that the other injured soldier is undergoing treatment.
