Kashmir’s soul incomplete without Noon Chai

Just one day left for the much-awaited visit of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Kashmir’s Srinagar district where he will be addressing the public for the first time after his government’s decision of removing the Article 370 on August 05, 2019. This will be Prime Minister’s second visit to Jammu and Kashmir within just 15 days as earlier Narendra Modi interacted with the people in a grand rally in Jammu division. However, the party leaders back in the valley have geared up to make elaborate arrangements for the grand rally on March 07 while the administration—both civil and police have made all the arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the rally, slated to be held at Bakshi Stadium here. The previous visit of PM Modi was just a few months after the valley witnessed a massive deluge in 2014 and he announced a big package at that time to help and assist the flood-affected people including the local families, traders and others to start a fresh. While the incumbent government in the centre is focused towards the development of Jammu & Kashmir, the people across the Union Territory are once pinning a hope for the announcement with regard to the massive developmental projects to transform the UT further into a business hub and a major attraction for the tourists. Efforts have already been made to transform J&K into a tourism capital, a lot more is done in this regard to further increase the footfall of tourists. Therefore, the upcoming visit would be interesting viz-a-viz developmental packages and other related announcements and the people are keen to get a gift from the Prime Minister again.
