Ladies special bus missing on ground

Years ago, the government took an initiative to come up with a bus, especially meant for the womenfolk in a bid to put an end to the harassment they face while travelling in public vehicles. The bus was introduced in the previous government’s tenure and it was named ‘Ladies Special Bus’. However, with the passage of time, the bus has gone missing from the roads, leaving the womenfolk to lurch at large. The women as well as the girls preferred these buses very much and it brought a huge relief amongst them in terms of the daily harassment they were facing. But, all of a sudden, the initiative has been seemingly stopped, forcing the lady passengers to travel in the local buses again where they have from time to time complained of harassment and other related things. One fails to understand why such a major facility has been stopped for the lady passengers. It seems that the people at the helm of affairs are not bothered about the state exchequer being spent on such facilities as there is a dire need to ensure that all the facilities that have been ensured for the public should be utilized so that the motive and objective behind it is achieved. At this juncture, the concerned authorities should look into the matter and ensure that such a facility is again made available for the lady passengers so that they would heave a sigh of relief and wouldn’t hesitate in travelling from one place to the other.
