Srinagar, Jul 17: Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary (BJP) (organization) Ashok Koul on Saturday said that party leadership has decided to nominate the volunteers in every village to inform people about possible third Covid wave.
Koul said after completing his 8 day tour in Kashmir, in which he reviewed the progress of party cadres in all districts and urged them to gear up for future challenges.
In a statement issued here, Koul urged party workers to gear party activities in each and every corner of the Valley and reach out to the people and make the people aware of various central schemes of the Modi government.
He said there is still some fear among the people and party leaders should act as a bridge between people and administration to motivate them for vaccination. People should make aware about the free ration that was sanctioned by the Prime Minister following the Covid19 crisis, Koul said.
During the eight day tour, the senior leader reviewed the progress of the District Working Committee in each district of Valley. He met various district representatives and was appraised about work and party activities.
“DDC members, Corporators and BDC chairman also informed the Koul about the various activities in their respective wards and areas.
While appreciating the work of the party in Kashmir, he said they have done a remarkable job during the Covid19 crisis and it should continue in future.
Koul said BJP is committed to peace and development and will have zero tolerance against the corruption in Jammu and Kashmir and will set an example of good governance.
