Keep Kashmir connected

In the run of Lok Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir, the political parties have announced their candidates from different constituencies, but one fails to understand who among them is going to represent the people of the Union Territory in a better way as most of them have been addressing the people during organizing rallies to target the opponents. One fails to understand the reasons behind contesting elections. Is it being contested to beat the opponents or to address the real issue of the people. The different political parties are trying to woo the voters on the name of decisions taken by the previous governments, while at the same time some among them are trying to highlight the secret alliances, which would hardly serve any cause. Contesting elections should be purely for the developmental issues, addressing the genuine issues of the people instead of targeting the opponents as it hardly matters for the people what they have faced by the works and doings of the erstwhile governments and leaders. The time calls for the necessary measures to end the miseries that people have been facing. Be it the lack of development or other related things, the candidates must focus on what they are supposed to deliver. The people, who are supposed to elect their representatives must not fall prey to the targeting statements, but should question the candidates about their roadmap for addressing the issues for the wellbeing of the people. It is the crucial time for the voters to choose their best representatives, but the people need to keep their ears open to identify the deserving amongst them.
