Srinagar, Jul 18: Conductor died while driver sustained critical injuries after an oil-tanker met with an accident on Mughal Road in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The accident occurred on Mugal road at Sukhsarie Dubjan area. The oil-tanker (JK01R 3898) fell into a deep gorge after the driver lost control over it.
Both the driver and the conductor were the residents of Kuland area of Doda district of Jammu.
A police official identified the deceased conductor as Neeraj Singh son of Galdari Kumar.
The injured driver Bhod Raj son of Mohan Chand was immediately taken to District Hospital Shopian where doctors referred him to SKIMS for advanced treatment. (KNT)
