Ganderbal, Jul 19: Three nomads sustained injuries after a black bear attacked them at Thajiwas area of Sonamarg in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
Reports said that three nomads grazing their live-stock were attacked by a bear leaving them injured. The bear according to a Wild Life Department official was present in the bushes and after noticing the movement of the humans, it attacked the three nomads.
The injured have been taken to hospital for treatment.
The official said that an operation has been lunched to trap the bear. (KNT)
