Advancing brain health: How technology is transforming brain tumor treatment

A recent statement made by the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory, in which he claimed that zero tolerance policy has been adopted against drugs to ensure drugs-free Jammu & Kashmir, has indicated that soon the drug menace is going to be eliminated, which will end up in saving thousands of precious lives. The statement has come at a time when the youngsters are falling prey to the narcotic substances, which has not only ruined their lives, but also shattered the dreams of their respective families. The steps in the right directions are imperative at this juncture to ensure that the goal is achieved within a stipulated time frame with an aim to save the precious lives of the people across Jammu & Kashmir. In this regard, Jammu & Kashmir Police have reportedly initiated Mission clean-up using ‘human intelligence’ to target drug traffickers and other anti-social elements in Kashmir. The mission has been launched to combat growing drug abuse and its adverse impact on the young generation. The drive has been launched throughout the valley utilizing human intelligence, including youth—both male and female—having previously struggled with drug addiction. It has been reported that Police have got vital support from the volunteers, who have also gone through a difficult stage of drug addiction and are fully aware of the detrimental effects it has had on their lives. Thereby, the society in whole has to extend support to Jammu & Kashmir Police and the civil administration in this regard, so that the motive and the goal are achieved.
