Baramulla, May 21: A road accident in Sopore town of Baramulla district claimed the life of a student on Tuesday.
Official sources said that a class 8th student who was riding on a two-wheeler met with an accident. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The deceased has been identified as Azaan Fayaz Wani, a resident of Sidique Colony Sopore.
Police in this regard registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
